I’d like to thank the officers and committee for the invitation to judge at this lovely friendly show. PARSON RUSSELL TERRIER Puppy (2, 1) 1. Hooleys’ HOOLMARK JOHNNY GUITAR Nine month male who was rather unsettled but with lovely outgoing nature wanting to enjoy his day out! Good wedge head, nice fold to ears, dark nose and eye to match coat. Nicely placed shoulders, Level back with slight rise to loin. Excellent tail set and nice moderate hindquarters. Moved out well in profile but a little loose in front still, but this will improve as still very raw as would be expected. BP Junior (1, 0) 1. Newports’ DIGADEN RUNNER BEAN Pretty feminine bitch, easily spannable. Good skull, would prefer slightly less cheek, excellent ear set and length. Good strong teeth and bite. Nice clean shoulders and good return of arm. Liked her short hocks and excellent hindquarters. Good strong tail set and carriage. Strode out really well in profile with topline held well. Really fit and could do a days work - BOB Post Graduate (3, 2) 1. As junior Open (3, 0) 1. Newports DIGADEN MADE TO MEASURE This bitch showed herself off so well and was so true on the move, holding her topline and with excellent tail carriage. Overall had lovely balance, spannable, good moderate hindquarters and nice short hocks. Would have preferred stronger teeth. Good strong neck and excellent lay of shoulder 2. Hooleys’ CH HOOLMARK BELLE STARR JW Slightly longer cast bitch than winner who sadly was not at all settled, pulling out to the side on the move which made assessment very difficult. In good fit condition with strong head, good eye colour and shape. Nice clean shoulders, and good top line.
